Now is saved what the stuff holds

SIRPLUS is coming to Germany

Yesterday, with more than 150 people, we have the launch of our second Crowdfunding Campaign celebrated. With saved beer and good music, our founder Raphael Fellmer recapitulated the last two years and reaffirmed that it is high time to fight for our planet before it's too late. Here you can watch the evening & the start of the campaign and get to know the ingenious team of SIRPLUS:

Since the founding of 2 years ago, we have achieved a great deal together with you. We opened 4 Savior Markets in Berlin, launched an online shop and created more than 80 worthwhile jobs. Together, we were able to protect tons of food from waste through 1500, thus making an important contribution to greater sustainability and climate protection.

Since then, we have been receiving daily inquiries as to when the first SIRPLUS rescuers market outside Berlin will open.
And with this in mind, we would like to pursue this wish and, with your support, develop a franchise concept with which we want to bring SIRPLUS to every corner of Germany. Our goal is to collect 75.000 Euro, to develop a franchise concept and launch the first franchise pilot at the end of the year. And then it will be saved what the stuff holds. In the whole of Germany, in every city, in every place, by everybody and every woman.

Because, more than 18 million tons of food are wasted annually in Germany. That's one truckload per minute. In these foods are an incredible amount of resources, which also land in the bin. Due to the food waste in Germany, an area, the size of Brandenburg, is managed annually for the barrel. Our Chancellor Angela Merkel also commented on the issue in March and confirmed that the Federal Government would like to reduce all food waste by 2030% until 50.

We work with producers, wholesalers and farmers and buy the food from them, which no longer make it into the normal trade. Reasons for this include: overproduction, logistics errors, blemishes and the best before date.

These foodstuffs are currently being picked up all over Germany with the help of forwarding agencies and taken to our 1000qm large warehouse in Berlin Tempelhof, from where they are distributed to the three savior markets or sent to online shop customers. In addition, we travel to the Berlin hypermarket five times a week and collect chilled goods from METRO's Berlin branches. These and many other processes have been built by our 70 employees over the last 1,5 years, so that the food can be saved by you.

In order to pour the accumulated experience into a franchise concept and to prepare our infrastructure for the franchising, we ask now our great Rettercrowd for support.

Become a crowdfunder now and bring SIRPLUS to all of Germany.
